A Message from the Mayor

Dear Residents:

What an exciting year this is going to be for the residents and City of Miramar.
Like you, I am excitedly awaiting the opening of the Miramar Cultural Center/ArtsPark this Fall.
It’s hard to believe that after all these years of planning and building, it is almost here.

So many times, when I’ve been asked to describe the Cultural Center and the
activities that will be taking place, I’ve mentioned different events.  But then, I
realized that the Cultural Center is more than just events.  It is a cultural center
that is centered around YOU, the young child enrolled in educational camps; the
young adult learning dramatic arts; the couple interested in a variety of cultural
activities; the older adults interested in classic shows and concerts; the local
business owner who seeks a venue to host business and sales meetings for your
entire company or the artists who desire to bring their art to the public to enjoy.
The Cultural Center is all of you.

As a city, it is the Commission’s role to constantly improve the quality of life for
our residents.  We are happy and proud to work with staff to ensure that all lives
are touched in a positive manner that makes life better.  It is our hope, dream
and desire that the Miramar Cultural Center/ArtsPark will provide you with an
experience like no other.

Thank you for the opportunity to share this experience with you.

See you at the show!

Sincerely,
Lori C. Moseley
Mayor
