Helping students learn through the arts.

The Miramar Cultural Center/ArtsPark is committed to enhancing student learning through the arts by providing a series of opportunities that involve fun while gaining new skills.

Through a partnership with the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Broward County School Board, Broward County Public School students in grades K-12 can attend performances through the nationally award-winning Student Enrichment in the Arts Program (SEAS) at the Miramar Cultural Center/ArtsPark beginning in January 2009.   To apply for tickets or for more information regarding SEAS Programs at Miramar, please contact Denyse Murguia, SEAS Coordinator at (754) 321-1860.

Also offered at the Miramar Cultural Center/ArtsPark is the successful Smart Stage Matinees program sponsored by Embraer. This one-hour educational school-day performance is available for private, parochial, charter and home-school students in grades Pre K- 12.

Children between the ages of 3-10 can watch their favorite stories come to life on-stage with the Family Fun Series.  These fun-filled events are held on Saturdays, with an art activity, face painting, and post-show snack.

Beginning in 2009, the Miramar Cultural Center/ArtsPark will also offer a variety of educational classes  in our arts & education studios for students of all ages. From music and dance, to painting and pottery, there will be something for everyone.  If you are a cultural educator interested in getting involved, please download the survey below and return it to the Center.
