Cultural Connections


Starting in October 2018 and in conjunction with the Ansin Family Art Gallery and arts institutions in South Florida, Miramar Cultural Center is excited to introduce a 10- month enrichment program for students in the 8th through 12th grade. The students will journey through unique experiential opportunities learning about various cultures through the lens of visual and performing arts. Through cultural arts activities, classes, demonstrations, art talks with guest speakers and field trips participants will fully immerse themselves in visual and performance art.

The program is structured as bi-monthly Saturday sessions conducted by MCC Staff based at the Miramar Cultural Center.

Program Dates: October 2018 – August 2019 (Every other Saturday)

Program Hours: 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon (MCC Based Days)

                             10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Field Trips days unless noted otherwise) 

Registration: Non-Refundable one-time (annual) registration fee of $50 – payable to the Ciy of Miramar

Program Tuition: Miramar Resident / Employee - $600 with proof of residency

                              Non- Resident - $700

                              Sibling discount – 10%

                              Scholarships are available (for eligible applicants)
