Provide potable water main distribution lines, service lines, fire hydrants, fittings, valves and related appurtenances, road restoration/driveway restoration as required to serve Country Club Estates, Country Club Ranches Section II, Miramar West, and Lago at Miramar. This project will ultimately provide potable water service to properties located in the Public Right-of-Ways within the aforementioned subdivisions. Also, the roadways east of SW 136th Avenue are private access easements, and each property owner would have to grant a utility easement to the city for any public infrastructure improvement.
August 2019 - The final scope of work was approved on 7/29/19 and the revised/updated notice to proceed was issued to Chen Moore &Associates. Survey and professional design services is in progress.
July 2019 - Consultant is still working on the revised scope.
June 2019 - Revised scope of work has been submitted by the consultant and is currently under review.
May 2019 - No updates.
April 2019 - Agreement is still under review by the attorney's office. NTP will be issued once the agreement is executed.
March 2019 - Agreement is being reviewed by attorney. Staff to issue NTP when agreement is executed.
February 2019 - Staff prepared agenda item for 2/20/19. NTP will be issued shortly thereafter.
January 2019 - Procurement advertised the RFQ and has received proposals which have been reviewed by staff. Staff will now work to develop a design scope and anticipates Awarding the Engineering Services contract in February 2019. NOTE: Design phase in FY2019. Staff attended a meeting with the residents in the Ranch on 12/19/18; staff informed the group about the project scope in FY2019 and also offered the current status at the meeting.
December 2018 - Anticipate Awarding the Engineering Services contract after staff completes the RFQ process and successfully negotiates the supporting scope and fee. NOTE: Design phase in FY2019.
