In 1987, Congress declared March as National Women's History Month in perpetuity to honor the extraordinary achievements of American women. Vice President Kamala D. Harris - Achievement, Opportunity, Precedence and Purpose.
This was the theme presented to high school students at schools in Miramar to inspire them to write an essay in celebration of Women’s History Month, where all participant Essays are displayed on this website and a Winner/s will be chosen to read an excerpt during the March 24th Commission Meeting.
