Sankofa, a word in the Twi language, is usually connected with going back and getting your history. "The Colors" are a variation of people. We have different shades of skin and culture and, regardless of race, participants will be able to connect with themselves and their history through the art of Acting. Who (Target Audience): Middle and high school students age 10 – 17 years. What: Theater Arts program that challenges students’ creativity and critical thinking skills, that not only benefit them in the world of theatre, but also in their core subjects such as reading and writing. When: Saturday classes, 10:00 am to 1:15 pm, January 30 to March 27 with a culminating showcase on Sunday, March 28, 2021.
