A Message from the Director of Cultural Affairs – City of Miramar

Dear Miramar Community,

As the Director of Cultural Affairs for our great City, I am honored to serve. Miramar is avibrant, diverse, and dynamic community. The City’s rich cultural tapestry is one of our greatest strengths; and as it stands it is our mission to ensure that our cultural programs, events, and initiatives reflect the voices and stories of all who call this city home.

Our department is dedicated to fostering a sense of unity through the arts, our heritage, and community engagement. From vibrant events, world-class performances to visual/public art installations and educational workshops and camps, we are here to inspire, connect, and celebrate what makes Miramar unique.

Miramar we are collectively committed to not only creating a place Where Community and Culture Converge™ but where creativity thrives, and every resident feels seen and heard.

It is important to note that the City of Miramar’s Cultural Center│Artspark is not only a pioneer state of the art facility within City limits; but it is the flagship destination that affirms Culture as a City asset.  It is unequivocally part of the Quality of Life menu that residents can boast about and guests receive when engaging with the City of Miramar.  

I invite you to get involved—attend an event, volunteer, or share your ideas with us. Together, we can continue to build a culturally enriched Miramar that honors our past, embraces the present, and looks forward to an exciting future.
