Streams is a vibrant evening of contemporary Caribbean dance by CDT Jamaica, the legacy of Tony Wilson’s The Company Dance Theatre. Hailing from Jamaica, CDT explores the visible and invisible currents that shape human experience—movement and stillness, memory and transformation, as well as tradition and innovation. Through powerful choreography, dynamic ensemble work, and expressive physicality, Streams reflects the fluid connections between people, place, and identity. Rooted in the company’s commitment to artistic excellence and cultural continuity, Streams honors the creative legacy of the late Mr. Tony Wilson, OD, while offering South Florida audiences an evocative and deeply moving experience at the Miramar Cultural Center.

CDT Jamaica is an internationally acclaimed contemporary Jamaican dance company dedicated to advancing modern and contemporary Caribbean dance on the global stage. Founded by four alumni of The Company Dance Theatre: Dr. Sade Bully-Bell, Artistic Director of the company, CDT; Renée I. McDonald, Associate Artistic Director of CDT; Steven Cornwall, Artistic Director of The CDT School; and Colin Blackwood, Executive Director of both CDT and The CDT School, the company continues to carry forward the visionary legacy of the late Tony Wilson, OD —blending Caribbean movement traditions with modern dance techniques and theatrical expression. CDT Jamaica has toured throughout the Caribbean and America and is celebrated for its athleticism, emotional depth, and innovative choreography. Through performance, education, and outreach, the company remains committed to nurturing new generations of Jamaican artists while honoring the artistic principles established by Mr. Tony Wilson, OD.
